Colocation Firm Telehouse Buys Massive NYC Data Center
January 11, 2011 — Telehouse America announced on Tuesday it has acquired a new 60,000 square foot data center at 85 10th Avenue in New York City, named Telehouse New York “Chelsea.” The carrier neutral facility, opening on January 24, expands Telehouse’s presence in the New York market, and as a subsidiary of KDDI Corporation, brings the company’s total global data center footprint to 39 facilities across 10 countries and territories.
