UK Web Host Lumison Acquires DediPower Managed Hosting

October 4, 2011 – UK web hosting provider Lumison announced on Tuesday that it has acquired web hosting and colocation firm DediPower Managed Hosting. The acquisition closed on Tuesday, but the terms of the acquisition have no been disclosed. This is the web hosts second acquisition since it received investment funding from Bridgepoint Development Capital in October 2010. In March 2011, Lumison acquired Blue Square Data.

Web Host K3 Acquires UK E-Commerce Firm FD Systems for 37 Million

August 3, 2011 — Welsh web hosting provider K3 has acquired UK business management software provider FD Systems for $3.7 million. The acquisition follows K3′s purchase of FDS’ Sage 200 business unit in December. Following the acquisition, the business is expected to contribute a profit of $1.3 million on revenues of about $11.5 million annually, according to the press release

July 12, 2011 — Cloud technology provider Citrix announced on Tuesday that it has completed the acquisition of open source cloud software developer Cloud.com. The terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed. This news comes a week after Cloud.com named Christian Reilly vice president of enterprise solutions.

Web Host Terremark Names Hearing Date for Acquisition Litigation Settlement

April 25, 2011 — Web hosting provider Terremark Worldwide announced on Friday that the Delaware Court of Chancery will hold a hearing on June 21 to consider the proposed settlement of litigation brought in connection with Verizon’s acquisition of Terremark. Earlier this month, telecommunications provider Verizon closed its acquisition of Terremark for $1.4 billion.
