SMB Adoption of Cloud Services on the Rise Microsoft Study

March 28, 2011 — According to a study issued on Friday by software giant Microsoft 39 percent of small and medium-sized businesses expect to be paying for cloud services within the next three years, compared to the 29 percent that are doing so right now. Microsoft says the report, titled “SMB Cloud Adoption Study 2011,” was outlines an opportunity for hosting service providers to benefit from selling cloud services into the SMB market

Microsoft to Power LG U Cloud Services in South Korea

July 30, 2010 — Software, services and solutions provider Microsoft and telecommunication service provider LG Uplus have formed a broad strategic alliance for bringing to market a range of cloud services that will leverage Microsoft’s software platforms and cloud offerings “to enable a connected digital lifestyle and work style,” for LG U+ customers, according to Microsoft’s announcement.
