December 13, 2011 — The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers issued a press release Monday detailing some of the early work the organization has done in seeking a replacement for CEO Rod Beckstrom, who, it was announced recently, will be departing the position after his first term concludes in July of 2012.

Fortunes Oregon Data Center to Offer Lowest Latency to Asia

December 13, 2011 — Data center operator Fortune Data Centers announced on Tuesday that its first wholesale data center in Hillsboro, Oregon will offer the lowest latency to Asia as a result of being located within half a mile of the termination points for Tata, Verizon and Alaska Communications’ trans-Pacific cables.
