September 3, 2010 — Validating the effectiveness of its energy efficiency initiatives, wholesale data center provider Digital Realty Trust has saved an estimated 10,000 kW annually (worth about $6 to 10 million) at its Bay Area facilities, according to the results of an energy efficiency audit of its San Francisco and Silicon Valley properties.

CSAA Sells Colorado Data Center for Almost 13M

September 3, 2010 — California State Automobile Association Inter-Insurance Bureau announced on Wednesday it has sold its data center in Broomfield, Colorado to Columbia Industrial Properties Midwest for $12.85 million, according to a report by DailyCamera.
