Oracle Hires Former HP CEO Mark Hurd as President

September 7, 2010 – Shortly after leaving his post as HP chief executive officer, Mark V. Hurd has joined IT software and hardware firm Oracle as president and has been named to the company’s board of directors, where he will report to Oracle CEO Larry Ellison.
