December 16, 2011 — According to an announcement issued Thursday, a consortium of certificate authorities and software firms has published an industry standard – the first of its kind – for the issuing of SSL or TLS certificates, a process that has been under a great deal of scrutiny this year, following a series of high-profile hacks and breaches, some of them resulting in mis-issued certificates.

UNH-IOL Offers Third-Party Energy Efficient Ethernet Interoperability Testing
